Behind the eyes of Beniwan
Diana Stanciulescu is amazing. I am so blessed to have her illustrate book 2 of the Beniwan series.
Drawn to the impossible, surreal and whimsical, Diana turns ideas and stories into smart and beautiful images. Her illustrations bridge the seen and the unseen by enhancing reality with magic details.
Diana graduated in 2012 with a MA in architecture from UAUIM Bucharest after getting a BA in finance in 2008. Inspired by this weird education mix and by exploring the world around her, she has since been creating illustrations for kids aged 2 to 100.

Beneath the surface of Beniwan
Nathan Fisher has worked on the Beniwan trilogy project with me since I first thought about taking the stories to print in 2006. He is an award winning book cover designer and does everything from illustrations to interior layout. Check out his talent at http://ideasablaze.com/
For years, Nathan has offered a strategic range of creative services including the design and production of websites, online marketing funnels, book covers, book illustrations, book designs for inside page layouts, and marketing tools such as logos, business cards, videos, brochures, display banners and more – all geared towards attracting the right customers.
Nathan has been a professional artist for twenty years. He has won several awards for his published book cover art, and has also worked as an animator on the Kamp Kreatures children’s TV show which aired on Smile Of A Child TV and Trinity Broadcasting Network.
Here are two of my favorite illustrations from Book 1.
